Baoye Group, founded in 1974 and listed on the main board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, is engaging in construction, property development and research and development, production and sale of building materials, with three regional companies located in Yangtze Delta Area, Anhui and Hubei. The Company was awarded The National 1st May Labor Prize, The National Excellent Privately-owned Enterprise in Employment and Social Insurance. In 2008, Baoye was recognized as Chinese Well-known Trademark. Baoye was listed on The Top 500 Enterprises in all industries in China in terms of taxation by the State Administration of Taxation for three successive years.
As at 31 December 2011, the Company received 14 "Luban Awards", the highest ranking of its kind in China, 11 National Outstanding Awards and more than 300 provincial awards. The honors Baoye got are more than the general construction companies. The Company has provided construction service for five projects of Beijing Olympic, Shanghai Financial Center, Dongyi Financial Center, which is the highest building in Anhui, the new Terminal Building of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, Shandong Dongying Airport, two railway stations at Yueqing and Yongjia of Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Railway and Jing'an Temple Traffic Terminal in Shanghai.
The Company endeavors to develop environmentally friendly, healthy and comfortable housing. In April 2009, the national research center emphasized on 9 core research contents in the areas of construction technologies and industrialization of residential unit has been established in and attached to Baoye Group's research center, the first of its kind being associated with a private and construction enterprise in China, specializing in the establishment of standards and inspection benchmarks in various laboratories. At present the Company is mainly developing Baoye Four Seasons Garden and Daban Fengqing in Shaoxing and Baoye Tongcheng Green Garden and Baoye Dongcheng Square in Anhui with energy saving, environment protection and other high end construction techniques, aiming at providing "low energy consumption, high degree of comfort and back to nature" residential properties for customers.
