The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong today (Thursday) invited claims against the Unified Exchange Compensation Fund for losses incurred by clients of Win Successful Securities Limited.
The claims should be for pecuniary loss incurred in the course of or in connection with Win Successful Securities Limited's stockbroking business; or in relation to any money, securities or other property entrusted to Win Successful Securities Limited or any of its employees.
Claimants must complete a claim form and produce evidence substantiating their claims to the Exchange's Compensation Committee.
Claim forms are obtainable in person or through the post at the following offices of the Exchange:
1. 11/F., One International Finance Centre, 1 Harbour View Street, Central, Hong Kong
2. 1/F., One and Two Exchange Square, 8 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong
3. Upper Ground Floor, V-Heun Building, 128-140 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong
The Exchange has also placed advertisements in newspapers advising on how and where to submit claims.
All claims must be submitted not later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 2, 2000. The Exchange's hotline, 2840 3695, 2840 3455 and 2840 3457 will continue to answer Win Successful Securities Limited clients' queries during office hours.
