The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong invites claims against the Unified Exchange Compensation Fund for losses incurred by clients of Mr Mui Au Nin, Rayston (trading as Tim Po Securities Company) (a former Member of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited), or Tim Po Securities Co. Ltd. (a former Member, presently a holder of Stock Exchange Trading Right), or both.

The claims should be for pecuniary loss incurred in the course of or in connection with Mr Mui Au Nin, Rayston, or Tim Po Securities Co. Ltd.'s stockbroking business; or in relation to any money, securities or other property entrusted to Mr Mui Au Nin, Rayston, or Tim Po Securities Co. Ltd. or any of their employees.

Claimants must complete a claim form and produce evidence substantiating their claims to the Exchange's Compensation Committee.

Claim forms are obtainable in person or through the post at the following address:

The Exchange has also placed a formal notice in newspapers for this.

All claims must be submitted not later than 5:00 pm on Monday, September 18, 2000. The claimants who have already lodged a claim form need not do so again.
